Bobèche Cocktail Bar

Bobèche Cocktail Bar is a basement bar on St Georges Terrace in Perth CBD, built around carefully made cocktails, considered drinks and a menu designed to keep you there beyond the first round. Cocktails are the focus, with classic serves and quality spirits at the centre of the list, while beer, wine and non-alcoholic cocktails, wine and beer give groups plenty of choice. Walk-ins are welcome, although bookings can be made for groups of up to 20 guests.

The room leans into a 1920s-inspired mood without treating the past as a costume. Dim lighting, red silk curtains, cosy booths and a handcrafted French pewter bar create an intimate setting for after-work drinks, a date or an evening that starts with a pre-show bite. Bartenders are on hand to stir, mix and shake drinks, and live jazz adds another layer every Friday and Saturday from 8pm. It is an adults-only venue, strictly 18+, so it is better suited to couples, friends, colleagues and solo guests than family outings.

Food comes from The Heritage’s Executive Chef, Guillaume Groult, and covers both quick snacks and more substantial plates. The supper menu is intended for sharing, with seasonal produce, local seafood and meats, plus charcuterie classics. For a more substantial midweek dinner, the website lists cheeseburgers, steak frites and local oysters among the offerings. The bar also runs a Friday and Saturday oyster special, with freshly shucked oysters available from 4pm until sold out, making an early arrival worthwhile if that is part of the plan.

There are regular reasons to drop in, including Tuesday-to-Saturday happy hour from 4pm to 5pm, when selected cocktails, wines, beers on tap and non-alcoholic drinks are available for $10. Bobèche also caters for larger occasions, with event bookings for groups of 20 to 120 guests across formats ranging from cocktail parties to seated dinners. Its recognition in the WA Good Food Guide, including a place among Perth’s Top 25 Bars in 2026, reflects the venue’s focus on drinks, food and service. For a casual drink, an evening of jazz or a late-night plate in the city, Bobèche offers a polished but relaxed option.
