Gladstones is an intimate wine bar and tasting room at Crown Towers in Burswood, with a focus on Western Australian wine. The venue’s collection spans regions including the Swan Valley, Margaret River and the Great Southern, bringing together established labels and newer work from the next generation of winemakers. An à la carte menu and wine menu are available, while food is served from 5pm.
The setting is designed as a calm, polished lounge that draws on the natural landscapes of Western Australia. It suits a pre-show drink, a quiet evening during a Crown Towers stay or a relaxed catch-up centred on wine rather than a large meal. Gladstones is an 18+ venue, so it is better suited to adult celebrations, couples and small groups than family outings.
The bar takes its name from Dr John Gladstones AO, who was among the first to recognise Margaret River’s potential as a wine region. That connection gives the venue a clear sense of place: its focus is on regional character, craftsmanship and the people behind each vintage, rather than wine as a generic luxury experience.
For a more private occasion, the Gladstones Signature Lounge accommodates up to five guests for a 90-minute experience in a curtained private space. The venue also caters for private events, with Champagne, fine wines and crafted canapés available as part of a tailored occasion. Gladstones is open Wednesday to Sunday, with later service on Friday and Saturday, although Crown Perth notes that hours can change. Weekend, public holiday and credit card surcharges apply.
Spot Score
The Spot Score is our composite of five signals — two about the venue's standing with visitors and three about how complete and current this listing is. It is not a visitor rating and not a verdict on the food or the experience. The 4.6 from 11 reviews is Google's visitor rating, shown separately and never altered by us.
