RISQ Small Bar

RISQ Small Bar brings cocktails, shareable food and music together in the heart of Joondalup. Its drinks list centres on handcrafted signature cocktails, supported by fine wines, premium spirits and beers, while the tapas-style menu is built around bold small plates for sharing. A signature tasting board is designed for groups of three to four, making it a practical choice for an easy catch-up or a more structured meal with friends.

The venue has several spaces with different uses. The Lounge seats up to 35, with cocktail-style capacity for 65, while The Bar seats 30. There is also a beer garden, and the spaces are available for private hire. The function room is styled with bespoke decorations and can be used for birthdays, engagements, corporate events and other celebrations. The venue says there is no minimum spend, with catering packages available for private events.

Music is a regular part of the experience rather than an occasional extra. Live music is scheduled on Fridays, live DJs play on Saturdays, and vinyl DJ sessions are held monthly, including Motown and Northern Soul nights. Other recurring events include a weekly quiz night, Sunday high tea and a Thursday Mates & Dates special. The published programme gives visitors plenty of reasons to return, while the combination of food, drinks and entertainment suits everything from a casual bite to a late-night outing.

RISQ is led by Sarah and Joe and has a lively, social setting suited to groups, celebrations and nights out with friends. It can also work for a low-key drink or shared meal, with reservations recommended for the Lounge. The venue is open Wednesday to Sunday and is located at U1/39 Central Walk, Joondalup.
