Roma Republic Subiaco

Roma Republic Subiaco is a neighbourhood coffee shop built around an easy daily ritual: good coffee, something to eat and a place to catch up. The Subiaco venue is the third Roma location, opened in June 2023, following the original Craigie shop and a Kinross site. The group’s stated aim is to create a community hub for friends and family, which makes this a natural stop for a relaxed catch-up or a quick solo coffee.

Coffee is the focus, with Roma’s signature blend made from specialty-grade beans roasted locally by Karvan Coffee. The blend combines beans from Brazil, Peru, Colombia and Nicaragua, with a flavour profile described through dark chocolate, caramel fudge and macadamia notes. It is available alongside a broad selection of hot and iced drinks, giving coffee drinkers plenty of ways to order.

Food is part of the offering too, with savoury and sweet options, brunches, vegan treats and homemade goodies mentioned on the site. The kitchen starts cooking from 6am, and the venue caters to morning coffee runs, lunch, afternoon snacks and takeaway. Order-ahead is available, and gift vouchers can be purchased in store in any denomination. Roma Republic Subiaco is open every day from 6am, making it suited to an early start, a casual family or friend meet-up, or picking up a drink and bite on the go.
