TeeBox Cafe is set at Lake Claremont Public Golf Course in Claremont, giving diners a relaxed setting beside the course and views across the surrounding lake. Its balcony is the main draw, offering a place to settle in after a round of golf or drop by simply because you are in the neighbourhood. The cafe sits within the clubhouse, which was upgraded when the course was refurbished and reopened in 2017.

The food offering is designed to suit different kinds of visits, from fully cooked breakfasts and grab-and-go toasties to sit-down lunches. There is also Simmo’s ice cream for a sweeter option, while the licensed drinks list includes a broad range of alcoholic beverages. TeeBox allows BYO wine in the cafe, although BYO alcohol is not permitted on the golf course. Drinks purchased at the cafe can be taken onto the course, subject to the venue’s conditions.

The setting makes TeeBox useful for more than a post-golf meal. It can work for a casual breakfast, a relaxed lunch or a coffee and catch-up with views rather than a busy street frontage. The adjacent course is an all-par-three, nine-hole layout, so the cafe may suit golfers, non-golfers and visitors looking for an easy outing in Claremont. TeeBox Cafe is operated by Golf Oracle, a family-owned Western Australian golf facility management company. The business was appointed by the Town of Claremont to manage the refurbished course, with Terry Gale redesigning the layout and supervising its construction. The cafe is open daily from 5.30 am, with food and drink orders taken until 8.00 pm, and closes only on Christmas Day. Groups of eight or more need to provide a deposit when booking, so larger gatherings should check the booking conditions before making arrangements.
